The process begins by selecting a base material, such as plastic, metal, or even wood, and cleaning it thoroughly to ensure a smooth surface. Next, a base coat of paint is applied to the surface, providing a foundation for the design to adhere to. After the base coat dries, a specially-designed film is applied to the surface of the water in a dipping tank, where it floats on the surface.
The magic happens when the item is slowly lowered into the water tank, allowing the film to wrap around it and transfer the design onto the surface. The water-soluble film is then rinsed away, revealing the unique and intricate design on the object. Finally, a clear protective coat is applied to the surface to seal in the design and protect it from damage.
